Case Studies
SocialSpring is the fastest way to brig your community to life. In just a few short weeks an entire custom community can be built around your exact specifications. Below are some examples of sites that have already taken off using the SocialSpring platform.
IHeartCavemen.com — A promotional dating site for the cro-magnon inclined
Intridea, in collaboration with iStrategyLabs and Heights Media Group, created a SocialSpring powered "dating" site for GEICO. Using the SpringCore components, the site was able to rapidly evolve through iterative prototypes with only a small development team.
Users can sign up for the site and morph themselves into cavemen using a Flash tool provided. They can then share their creation, make their profile public on the site, and vote on other profiles.
Acts as Community — A community for Ruby and Rails Developers
Acts as Community is a community for developers and those interested in the Ruby programming language and the Ruby on Rails framework and powered by the SocialSpring platform.
With Acts as Community, users can post programming related questions, share their personal blogs, post useful code snippets, and more. It is also a gathering point for local user groups, allowing them to schedule meetings and have their own forums.
Committed Conversations — Bringing people together to enact positive social change
Committed Conversations is a community built around the Seeds of Compassion conference being held in Seattle in April. It will allow conference attendees, speakers, and the public to interact with each other and work together to enact positive social change. Each of us has the power to make a difference.
The site will launch to the public just before the conference on April 10, 2008. Stay tuned for further announcements.
